關於摔角頻道

自 2009 年摔角頻道正式自設網頁後﹐摔角頻道與外國摔角明星聯繫﹐並且聯同 Bob Sapp, Al Snow, Debra Marshall, Dave Hebner, Mike Bucci, Rob Van Dam 及 2 Cold Scorpio, Taiyo Kea, Dory Funk Jr., One Man Gang,  Diamond Dallas Page, Shane Chung, Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore, Akebono, Charlie Haas  製作訪問。

Wrestle-Network started in 2008 as part of My Radio’s regular fixture. In 2009, Wrestle-Network has opened its own production company and is expanding its China market. Since the website opened in the beginning of the year, We have monthly average of 60,000 visits, with the highest being 72,000 visits. Since the website changed its direction on August 2009, over 720,000 visitors have visited each month on Wrestle-Network.com. Wrestle-Network’s founder and director Shawn Ng believes,”Our direction is simple, a channel which is multi-dimensional to our loyal fans. We will strive to do better for you. We do believe in original programming, unlike many pro wrestling websites in China, simply relying on stolen and unauthorized footage of various wrestling companies to attract wrestling fans. We believe setting a good image to the public is important, instead of getting the ’stigma’ of what many Chinese pro wrestling websites have done.”

Since the open of the website in 2009, Wrestle-Network is the first China professional wrestling website that connects with overseas wrestling personalities and has already worked with Bob Sapp, Al Snow, Debra Marshall, Dave Hebner, Mike Bucci, Rob Van Dam, 2 Cold Scorpio, Taiyo Kea and Dory Funk Jr. Diamond Dallas Page, Shane Chung, One Man Gang, Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore, Akebono and Charlie Haas. Shawn said, “There has never been a website in China like wrestle-network.com, almost at least one professional wrestler will be interview from us on our show, I wish this can continue regularly.”

Regarding to future prospects of Wrestle-Network, the hosts are looking forward to it, so is Shawn, “If we don’t have a proper planning in our direction, we would not be opening a new Putonghua channel, at the same time utilize our interactive base to connect with our fans further and make it more user friendly for them, that’s what we would like our fans to have here.” Then there is Wrestle-Network’s Official Online Shop. When asked, shawn replied,”We are not focusing on that at this point, but expect our official shop to have its grand opening in 2010,serving all of our fans.” Wrestle-Network’s goal is to develop a full-blown pro wrestling culture in China.

Long before Wrestle-Network.com has started, “Daddy” Shawn Ng has already been making connections with various pro wrestling companies around the world. These companies include WWE, TNA, All-Japan Pro Wrestling, Dragon Gate USA, Inoki’s Office IGF, Ring of Honor, Jersey All-Pro Wrestling, Nu-Wrestling Evolution and Funkin’ Conservatory.

At the same time, Wrestle-Network.com is building its relationships with television stations in China. Guangdong TV is one of the first which Wrestle-Network.com has made positive connections with. Wrestle-Network.com is also hoping to work with Guangdong TV in the future as well. For more information, please visit our website.
